This was a lovely house up in the hill and away from the hustle and bustle. Great location (as long as you have a car) meaning we could visit a variety of beaches and villages on both sides of the island. The veranda was more spacious than the photos suggested had lovely views and the owners were so helpful. Well equipped and comfortable - I would recommend.

Upon arrival we got an excellent welcome pack. The host was very responsive and the property is excellent - spacious, with all the household and kitchen appliances you may need (and even some that you may not - it really has all). The location is a little village with not much activity (which we liked). There are beaches, supermarkets and a busy tourist village Fiscardo 3-5 km away. It is definitely for the visitors looking for peace an quiet. Excellent all around.
Kefalonia is known for the problems with wasps and the property is the same. The wasps disappear during the night, but during the day you need to be careful. There are ways to deal with them - burning coffee repels them, but they are always present.
