This fully renovated and beautifully decorated 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is the relaxing retreat you’ve been seeking. The quiet neighborhood in part of historic Hilo backs up to a greenbelt on a dead-end street. Rainbow Falls is just a short drive, as is downtown Hilo and Bayfront.
The kitchen is easy to work in and of course has all the amenities that you’ll need to cook up those scrumptious island meals. Eat inside or dine outside on the screened-in lanai!
The living room is comfortable with a smart TV for streaming (no cable), and the house does have high-speed wireless internet through Spectrum.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite bath with tub/shower combo, and the guest bedrooms have a queen and a full/double bed. There’s also a full guest bath also with a tub/shower combo. Both bathrooms have combination tub/showers.
From this convenient location, explore old Hilo town with its great farmers market, historical museums, wonderful restaurants and more. Don’t miss Richardson’s, Carlsmith or Onekahakaha Beach Parks! Very quiet neighborhood. Was awakened with singing roosters and clucking chickens. Was lullabied to bed with croaking frogs. It was like living in the countryside. It was a great expeience.

We enjoyed our time in this little house. It is a wonderful alternative to a hotel. There is plenty of room, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is big, everything works. The location worked very well for us. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilo Hale Kaumana during our recent trip in January 2023, to visit family members who live nearby, and still have our own place with other family who came with us. It was great to have 2 full bathrooms along with 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen w/dishwasher, oven, stovetop, microwave, washer and dryer (right in carport) and lanai. Very nice place to stay, close to downtown Hilo and nearby beaches, and other sites. Would definitely rent this house again! Mahalo! :)

We decided to make Hilo our first stop on a first trip to Hawaii. We had a great time and a relaxing place to return to at the end of the day helped. We also had great concierge support.
