The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums and townhomes. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting; a tennis pro is on hand daily for lessons or game improvement coaching.
The large, newly remodeled swimming pool is ideal for “laps” and also for small children water activities. Swimming pool based exercise sessions are offered each morning. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts.
One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago.
The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbecue areas for guests to use.
The Big Island is also known as the golf capital of Hawaii with 16 courses, 11 that are located in West Hawaii. There is a new driving range called the "Swing Zone" located near the Kailua Pier, for anyone who wants to brush up on a short stay.

We rented this home for 2 weeks and we had a great time. The views out the back door are amazing and the pool is literally steps from the home. The property managers were quick in their responses and very helpful when needed.

Even after researching rental properties, we were blown away when we arrived here! The back door opened right out onto the ocean, and we spent a lot of time in the mornings and evenings on the lanai before and after the day's adventures. When we needed something resolved after hours, the property manager was attentive and solved our problem immediately. Throughout our stay the rental agency kept in touch with us and was responsive to our communications. Not to mention all this for an excellent price! The condition of the unit had a few rough spots, and other than the master bed the mattresses weren't terribly comfortable. But overall we feel like we got exactly what we paid for and had a great experience!

Freaking amazing. Great condo. Perfect view. Perfect everything. The pool was a little cold from switching over the water, but it was still perfect. Can't wait to book another vacation.

Unit was so nice. Except for being robbed that is!! Nick from Knutsen was very helpful Only problem with agency was when we came in for boarding passes the girl had trouble getting them. And just sent us on our way. She should have gone one step further and offered to call the airlines at least offer us the phone to call them ourselves. We do hope in the future to use Knutsen again. Thank you. Jeanne
