Sunstone 206 Ski-In Ski-Out Condo At Sunstone Lodge with Great Complex Amenities
This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, ski-in, ski-out condo at Sunstone Lodge is one of the best locations in Mammoth! It is located on Mammoth Mountain's Eagle Run trail above Juniper Springs Lodge. Updated furnishings throughout the entire condo to include a large sectional couch, dining table and chairs, euro-style bunk bed, modern bedding in both bedrooms and new paint. There is a large flat screen TV with DVD player in the living room and Firestick for streaming, along with a cozy gas fireplace. The master bedroom has an attached private bathroom, King bed and flatscreen TV. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with an extra long twin on top, queen on bottom, and twin trundle underneath, also with a flatscreen TV. The full kitchen has all of the cookware you will need and the dining area seats up to 6 people. This unit has its own dedicated internet high-speed service, in addition to the building wireless. There really is no better location than Sunstone when it comes to convenience of skiing/riding. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This is one condo that will not disappoint. The condo sleeps a maximum of 6 people and comes with underground, heated garage parking for one vehicle (garage clearance is 8' 2"). Guests will be provided one parking pass. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. There are no stairs to the unit, no stairs inside, and no smoking or pets are permitted. Our calendar is updated in real time. We loved staying in this unit! It was comfortable, clean and relaxing. We loved all of the sleeping options and comfortable living space. It truly was relaxing for us.

Overall the unit was nice, but there were some issues we noted.
1. It did not have a cutting board for carving food. I had to use a flat metal grilling plate which is not ideal.
2. Needs more spoons.
3. Wifi was awful. Apparently the modems are in the hallway. We had to go to the main lobby on the first floor to get reliable internet.
4. TV should have instructions since it was not hooked up to conventional cable. Took a while to figure out.
5. Oven stopped working, but the stove top worked.
6. Coffee pot was very small (5 cups). You could not pull out the carafe while brewing without the coffee pouring out. Coffee makers are inexpensive, get a better one for your guests, preferably 10-12 cups with auto turnoff.
I mention these things because we have a rental condo in HI. We go out of our way to make sure our condo is well stocked so our guests have all the amenites they need to make their stay as pleasant as possibe. This unit seemed to lack that.

Love Sunstone! Once "Eagle" closes, location "plus" ends for me, though. My favorite place to stay prior to that happening. This 2 bedroom is great for 2 singles up to 4 singles. Add 1 more if a "couple" comers along.
