AB Butlers Dog Trot - Marshall Creek Suite

The Dogtrot is one of the Hill Country’s most successful and well known guest houses.
Our log cabin is built in a southern style called a “dogtrot”. A dogtrot is a building with sleeping quarters at each end joined by a breezeway in the middle.
The Dogtrot was originally built on the banks of the Cumberland river in Tennessee. In 1997, it was moved to the Texas Hill Country.
The Dogtrot has been inspected repeatedly and was given an “outstanding quality” certification by Historic Accommodations of Texas for 10 consecutive years.

The entire property is smoke-free. Our B&B offers 2 suites for guests. Each suite can accommodate up to 2 guests. Each suite offers:

Kitchenette with small refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave and Keurig coffee maker

Wood burning fireplace (Please note the wood burning fireplace will be in use during these months: November 15 - March 31)

This property was amazing and breathtaking! The story behind the beautiful craftsmanship of the building was also beautiful. I loved that the property was so close to the Main Street and the sights that we wanted to visit and explore. The information that you left for us to make it easier to find restaurants was very helpful. We loved that you were available onsite and just a phone call a way as well. We would most definitely use you again and recommend your property to our family and friends.
