LE DUPLEX - Hyper centre - Gare - Wifi - Duplex

The location is genuinely excellent, right next to the station and walkable to everything in Annecy. The apartment was clean and tidy, and the hosts were always friendly and responsive whenever we reached out.

A few things worth mentioning for future guests: the Wi-Fi credentials displayed around the apartment didn't work, the correct details were only on the modem itself, but not a big deal. The fans available for the heat were way too weak to make a real difference during a very warm stay, and while the hosts responded kindly when we asked for alternatives, no solution was found. There were also very few cups and glasses available, and the clean dishes from the dishwasher hadn't been put away before our arrival, which isn’t a big deal either. The listing photos also make the space look newer than it is. At festival pricing (€500/night), these details stand out more than they otherwise would.

Large apartment, big kitchen and dining area, great proximity to the train station and only a short walk to the main area of town.

Some unrulily individuals hanging around the door at the base of the building each night. Making it not feel overly safe. No air-conditioning, having to walk downstairs to go to the toilet. Hosts were great, however only communicated in French, so I had to continually run there responses through Google Translate.
