We stayed one night at Acacia Camp and everything was great. The campsite was spacious, with a good fire setup and a large, clean bathroom. The views were excellent. It’s a bit tricky to get there with GPS coordinates. You first need to go to the reception of “Camelthorn Bush Camp” (also managed by Hideaways Africa), and from there they guide you to the campsite. The staff was very friendly.
Everything was perfect, no complaints at all.

Vanuit Maun naar Chobe een goeie locatie. Prachtige plek met uitzicht op waterhole. Campsite in de bush, wel toilet en doehetzelf douche vlakbij
Als bij de lodge geen gasten zijn moet je om 17u naar je kampeerplaats, net als golden hour bij de waterhole is

Mooie accommodatie
De camping is ver weg van de faciliteiten. Als camper wordt je niet gezien als gast. Ze zeide letterlijk; we hebben de komende week geen gasten, al het eten is opgegeten door het personeel. Je mag gebruik maken van het zwembad maar we konden helemaal niets van eten bestellen. Dus je moet al je eten zelf op de camping maken en als je naar de winkel moet, dan moet je helemaal terug rijden naar Maun (ochtend rijden). Ze hebben ook geen grote flessen water te koop, alleen kleine flesjes.
