- Perfect location! The apartment is in the heart of Sliema, just outside Valletta. In fact, we found Sliema even more convenient as a base than the capital itself. Bus stops and the ferry terminal are only 600 metres away, making it easy to reach almost anywhere on the island. There is a bakery and a mini-market just 50 metres away, and several supermarkets (including Lidl) within 500 metres. The street is quiet, with charming historic-looking buildings and traditional Maltese balconies. The beautiful waterfront promenade, with wonderful views of Valletta, is also nearby. - Excellent cleanliness. When we arrived, the entire apartment was sparkling clean and fresh. - Very well equipped and beautifully decorated. The apartment has everything you might need for either a short or a long stay. The hosts clearly understand what travellers need and also have great taste. The interior is simple but lovely, with touches of traditional style. - Easy check-in. Everything was quick and straightforward. We received clear instructions on how to collect the key before our arrival and simply followed them.

- We think the booking conditions and information provided in the apartment could be a little more accurate. When we booked, it was stated that no payment would be required before check-in. However, two weeks before our arrival, we received a message saying that the hosts had been unable to charge our card and needed the payment to guarantee our reservation. This is perfectly understandable, but it would have been better to know about it in advance. There was also a notice in the apartment saying that guests could request fresh towels. However, when we asked for them after a few days, our request was politely declined. - Some noise issues. Sound travels quite easily through the building. Our neighbours had a dog and often got up early (once at 4:30 a.m.), which woke us up too. Also, during the last couple of days, what seemed to be a water pump started switching on and off repeatedly, even when no water was being used. Overall, these were relatively minor inconveniences and did not spoil our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend this apartment to other travellers!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a really cute terrace. The apartment was well equipped and we especially appreciated having adapters for both UK and EU plugs, so we didn’t have to worry about bringing our own. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. The location was great for us, there are three grocery stores within about a 5-minute walk, as well as two pharmacies. Most places in Sliema were around a 10-minute walk away, including bus stops and access to the sea. The clubs were about a 30-minute walk away, which was also manageable for us. Communication with the hosts was good, although we mostly communicated through the mobile number provided, as they were not very responsive on Booking.com. In our opinion, this apartment is a great option for a couple or friends who want to enjoy Malta without looking for luxury, but still want everything they need to be easily accessible. We would especially recommend it to people travelling on a budget, as having a kitchen was a huge plus and helped us save money on food. A few things to keep in mind: the bathroom is quite small, so we feel the apartment may be less suitable for families with children, although it wasn’t a problem for us. The nearby “beaches” are mostly rocky areas, so if you are looking for beautiful sandy beaches, you will need to take a bus or drive further away. Overall, we had a very good stay and would definitely recommend this apartment, especially to couples or friends travelling on a budget who want a convenient location and a well-equipped place to stay.

The only real downside for us was the noise in the mornings. The building itself doesn’t have the best sound insulation, and there were also some construction works happening outside, which of course is not something the hosts can control. We had also read comments about noise from the upstairs neighbours, but during our 5-night stay we only heard them once, so this really wasn’t an issue for us.

Cosy and small individual Maltese house with it's own entrance and backyard. Amazing location, literally few minutes walk from the promenade. Grocery/bakery shop 2 minutes away. Facilities as per described, all in one place for perfect holiday. Price was very affordable, more like hostel price.

We did not understand some of the negative comments, this place is a traditional house and not modern, however everything was lovely and I would not expect anything fancy especially for the price we paid. Definitely come back again.
