Modern, spacious, well equipped and comfortable apartment in a very good location, close to the sea front. In one of the cupboard, to our surprise , we found: extra virgin olive oil, white wine vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and rice.
Our balcony was overlooking both the swimming pool and the sea. It had some outdoor furniture, so that we could sit outside and enjoy sunny weather.
In the bathroom we found shower gel, shampoo and a liquid hand soap.
The swimming pool was clean and there were some sun loungers around it. We had plenty of towels at our disposal ,so that we could use a couple for the swimming pool.
Street parking in the village was free and we had no problem to find a parking space.
There were 2 supermarkets in the village and 2 or 3 café/restaurants, which were very handy.
The village itself was nice, clean and quiet. It had 3 semi-natural swimming pools with some nice walkaways leading to them, and a harbour.
Friendly owner. Due to our late arrival, he met us in the centre of Valverde to hand over the keys and pass on useful info.
There was no electric kettle, although we managed without it perfectly well.
One of the locks on the balcony door was broken.
There is no air con in the flat- it wasn't a problem for us in December. However, it is something to bear in mind for somebody, that plans to stay there during warmer months of the year.
