Passable but overpriced for what is on offer compared to other places. Location is good

It's a good location, passable.

The walkway was not cleared of ice, slippery entrance. Was not easy to find since the booking.com location on the map differed from the address. Interior was cold, the toilet had too little leg room - just stuck in a corner too close to the sink. Little floor space- could not comfortably use my laptop since the desk and stools were too close to the bed, which took up almost the entire room. Bed was passable but not great. Security wise, no extra internal lock, window bolts were not secure, insufficient curtains allowing neighbors to see in.

Disgusting, unsanitory, unsafe! Don’t stay here!

Absolutely everything…. It was disgraceful, I wonder when it was last cleaned properly! Hair all over the bathroom walls, see through curtains that didn’t fit the window meaning other properties can see into the property. In addition to this, there was a pile of dead flies on the windowsill. Not safe either as the window didn’t shut. We got offered a different room when we complained about the room which was potentially even worse than the first with a smashed window, cigarette buts, bottle tops and chocolate wrappers under the beds, thick layers of dust, missing patches of carpet, unlevel flooring, and the bathroom door didn’t open fully! Shame the review only allows for 4 photos, we have so many more. Complaint still open with booking.com, don’t waste your time!

Cheap but was uncomfortable. Great location though.

They let us check in earlier than the usual check in time which was nice. The location is brilliant. We stayed two nights and when we got there and on the second day was two fresh bottles of water for us. A good flat screen tv with Netflix so that was good although it was wonky on the wall.

We got room 1. Definitely needs renovation. Walls are dirty and need repainting covered in marks and there was also a hole in the wall. Missing shower door so water splashes out all over the bathroom. The tiling in the bathroom was very poor around the door frame. Because of the scratches and marks all over the place the room felt dirty. Not too sure if the sheets were freshly washed they didn’t look the freshest.

Two nights in Gdansk

Excellent location in a quiet street a stone's throw from the quayside of the Mottlau and close to Krantor. I got the best room with windows to the Straganiarska street. The room was nicely furnished and clean. The owner provided glasses and cutlery.

The owner at first requested payment of local tax to bank account. Later she accepted payment in cash.

I couldn’t move the room was so small. Also the shower cabin was broken. One of the door swings was missing so we couldn’t take a proper shower without flooding the bathroom.

Nice location but poor facilities

The location is nice, just 5 minutes by walking to the old town, and the Wi-Fi works good.

Unfortunately, the price-quality ratio was not fair. The shower didn’t work properly, no shampoo or shower gel provided, the towels were very small (even smaller than the bathroom carpet) and I’m not even sure that our bed sheets were changed after the previous guests.

Location, although the street has been closed due to St Dominic event. The room spacious enough for three people. Price.

There was a serious water leak some time ago in the building. The floor in the corridor got warped and we had to roll up the carpet to open the door. Shower drain clogged.

Good value for your Money

The room location is great. Not in the middle (noisy) of the center not so far either. We stayed for one night only and was good enough. I liked the possibility of checking using the code and the ease of access. Good value for my money

Great localization but if booked a double bed it should be a double bed not two singles.

I booked a double bed and got two uncomfortable single beds which were poorly connected at the base and they were parting all the time despite reattaching them every hour. The water in the shower was cold for 15 minutes and only after that it started to heat up.

Nothing off putting. Main front door needs to automatically fully close as we came back once and it was open. Signage for rooms would be beneficial from the stairs pointing towards the room corridors. Little bit of maintenance work required on shower cubicle door

It was rather easy to find, location is perfect. A host is very friendly and answers fast. The room was clean, tidy and stylish. It was very pleasant to stay there :)

At first we decided to pay with cash (only cash or traditional bank transfer were offered) but then we found commission of local ATM's a robbery, may be up to 10% or smth about that. That would be easier for me to pay right on the website with a card. But anyways it was not a big problem, I highly recommend this hotel for travellers. Quiet and peaceful place :)

Great location, convenient arrangement

Excellent location, next to the centre, still very quiet. I liked the fact that I didn't have to make arrangements with anyone about keys etc: both room and building door had a password which was sent to me directly before I arrive.

I personally would like a more comfortable pillow and blinds for the windows or better curtains to block the light from entering the room at dawn.

Perfect for solo travellers

Brilliant location, I could walk to all the tourist parts of Gdańsk. I felt really safe and secure as a solo traveller too. The coded door systems worked great and it was nice not having to carry a key around! The room was cosy and had a lovely comfy bed. The bathroom was modern and clean. Having a kettle in the room was fab too. A lovely stay, I would 100% recommend!!

I would rate my stay as just average at a push.

Location was good, , ease of access was good

First night arrived later on, constant banging all night kept me awake, couldn’t work out where it was coming from as was not familiar with area etc . Woke up early next morning as curtains were only half the size of the window so not really any use, second night found out a large metal panel on the roof was insecure which was banging . Spoke to the owners who sorted it out , room could do with re painting as marks on walls etc , new curtains needed , & shower temperature not very constant, beds way way too soft & pillows square and lumpy.
