Boulevard Studio Apartment

The apartment is very modern and spotlessly clean. It contain everything you might need (although a coffee machine would improve it further). As I was there for 11 days I used pretty much all the facilities, including the cooker, washing machine and iron, all very new and worked perfectly. The wifi was good, but I had to reboot it a couple of times when we had some short power cuts (I think it was not the apartment block, but wider power outages). The host was extremely helpful. The apartment is just a short walk from the city centre and the university where I was visiting.

Nothing really. I'm just glad I wasn't in the lift during the power cut.

Good location, easy to find, and about a 10-minute walk from the center.. ​Nice-designed with relatively new furniture and like shown in the photos. ​Excellent amenities for a long stay, including a washing machine with detergent, a vacuum, and plenty of extra linens. ​The host was responsive and brought missing bath towels after I pointed it out.

Note on Smoking: Please note this is a smoking-friendly apartment. Since I missed this during booking, the deep stale smoke odor in the furniture was very difficult for me, especially since the rainy weather made it impossible to open windows. This was a mojor issue for me and made me feel sick. ​Hygiene & Details: Deep cleaning could be improved (there was dust on top of the shower and a stain on the table). Also, leaving used slippers behind felt unhygienic. ​Presentation: The towels provided were quite worn and mismatched. It would also feel much more like a vacation rental if the cleaning supplies were tucked away in a closet rather than left out in the open.
