Beautiful Idiosyncratic location

The house is in a quiet location with beautiful views. It is an excellent centre for enjoying the scenery around Lago Bolsena, the many Etruscan and mediaeval sites of the region, or just relaxing. Stella communicated very clearly and responded incredibly rapidly to queries. The house has been thoughtfully renovated with attention to the local building stones; the frame to the front door is a beautiful reference to the volcanic history of the region. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathrooms are good. One bedroom is comfortable, with an en-suite; the other is more basic. The decoration of the house gives the feeling of a happy home; we spent 10 days here and wished we could have stayed longer. There is no wi-fi

There was nothing that we didn't like. Some reviews complained about what the house provides; it is a distinct, personal, and charming offer (see above) so take it or leave it. YES, the access road is a issue, but it's not a show stopper. The comments are all fair. For me, aged 75, it was comfortable in a Fiat Panda in first gear. Stella provides pictures of access travelling east-to-west; this is much the easier way to access the road. If you are coming in from the west (Marta) continue to the Tigre supermarket 200m up the road and use their carpark to make a U-turn (except on Sundays!). The steps in Stella's picture are the key visual cue. Oh, BTW, there's no Wi-Fi. On Day 1 this seemed to be a problem. By Day 2 it was an advantage.

Stopover on the way to the south

Very nice, completely stuffed house! Stella is very helpful and responsive! We stayed there only for two nights, but if you want to discover lake Bolsena and the region it’s also perfect for a longer stay.

Casa bellissima e comodissima. Posizione super.

Certo, come avvisato dalla proprietaria la strada per l’accesso è bella ripida e serve essere un po’ sgamati alla guida. Nulla toglie di andare a piedi e parcheggiare proprio non sotto casa.

Casa bellissima nella Tuscia.

La casa é sicuramente una delle più belle dove abbiamo alloggiato, completa di tutti i confort e un panorama bellissimo. Tranquillità assoluta.

L'unica ve pecca è la strada d'accesso che è accidenta e un po stretta in auto. Mi permetto di aggiungere i cuscini troppo bassi ma quella è un'abitudine, io ci tornerei tranquillamente.
