A definite recommend ! Beautiful grounds, fantastic food, wonderful staff.

The grounds are very well kept and there are plenty of comfortable places to sit outdoors. Early check-in is a bonus. Our room was cosy and attractive, the bath was a nice touch. An unusually good value minibar! Breakfast was reasonably good compared to many in Italy, including freshly pressed orange juice and omelettes.

The double bed in our room was terrible. A very flimsy IKEA frame and mattress - the whole bed wobbled and creaked every time someone moved even slightly. Consequently we slept very badly both nights. Such a shame - a comfortable night's sleep is the single most important thing to provide. The swimming pool has been cleverly created to appear like a beach - but the form and depth of the pool does not allow for proper swimming (you will not be able to swim lengths). It's good for cooling down and for children to play in.
