More Than an Apartment - A Hawaiian Experience

Our stay at Waikomo Streams was absolutely wonderful. Apart from the incredible pool, the apartment itself offers so many amenities that it’s honestly hard to list them all. You could arrive with just a suitcase, stay for six months, and still not miss a single thing. Everything you might possibly need is already there. For us, the washing machine turned out to be especially useful. We were doing a lot of trekking, and with the muddy weather, it made a huge difference to be able to wash and dry our clothes easily. What truly made this place exceptional, though, was the way the owner allowed us to completely immerse ourselves in the spirit of the island. Every day we listened to the Hawaiian music records that were available in the apartment. During our drives, we read the books provided about the island’s history, geology, plants, and birds. It added such depth to our experience and made our stay feel meaningful and authentic. I genuinely felt as if someone had welcomed us into their own home, not just a rental apartment. It was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

We left 3 days early, and there was no comment from the person we called to let you know.

The location was OK.

Appliances were very outdated, bathroom tub/shower faucet must have been 50 years old, and difficult to operate. We had to call your local office to get cable TV to work.

Great location, perfect for Couples

Great location. Apartment was clean and had comfortable furniture. It had beach items that we were able to use boogie boards, umbrella and ice chest. We would definitely book again.

No central A.C. It was difficult to sleep a few nights due to the humidity and heat. The apartment does have fans, which helped. I would have liked to see tower fans, which are quieter and cool better. The basic stand fans are a little too loud when trying to enjoy TV in the evening.
