A great location in the old town - great just to wander around and not far from the harbour areas. The staff were all fabulous - lifting heavy suitcases up the stairs for us and making recommendations for dinner etc. We loved the terraces - lovely just to sit and have coffee etc or relax. The breakfast area was nice with a good selection of food available.
Our room was very dark and quite small. It was on the top floor with steep stairs (which we did know about in advance). The air conditioning did not work very well. The 'Luxury' in the title did not quite live up to our expectations.

The staff was very nice and welcoming, also offered a lot of suggestions on where to eat etc. We enjoyed the location even though the room didn't have a great view. But we made up for it by staying on the terrace.
The room was very dark and the bathroom is very small, but other than that we had everything we needed.

Carpet in our room needed replacing, otherwise room was very clean and well organized

I only gave a 5 out of 10, and I do not recommend this hotel. Reasons see below.

The main reason I feel upset about paying 230€ for one night here:
The address of this hotel on Google Maps and Booking.Com misleadingly locates in the front row of the coastal line by the sea. In fact, it is on the other side the a narrow alley, giving us an unpleasant view of someone else’s window and a wall just about 2m outside of our window.
The second reason I upset: Our Large Room discretion says there is a terrace. There is no terrace!
Other reasons I’m disappointed about this hotel:
Shower drain is blocked;
No service other than breakfast after checking in;
Bar is closed after around 6pm, no staff around;
We were not given WIFI password and couldn’t find anyone to ask after around 6pm;
Hotel gave us a pickup location that doesn’t exist, we had to call and clarify it;
No suitcase stand or cosmetic tissue in the room;
The room is relatively dark;
…
The high price of this hotel is driven by post Covid mass tourism I believe, but unfortunately its standard is far away from luxury or 4-star.
If it were 130€ per night, I would say it’s overpriced but understandable, considering the high demand in Rovinj and after all a comfortable room.
However, I can’t find a proper reason for the hotel to charge 230€.
