Holiday home located in the “quiet residential” part of Tarajalejo, about 1.4 km from the beach. Having a car is rather recommended. The bus stop (400 m away) serves the Puerto del Rosario – Morro Jable route (Line 01 – Alsa), as well as lines 09, 11, and 25 for shorter routes. A nice welcome touch is the bottle of wine in the fridge. Tea, a full set of dishes, and other kitchen utensils are available. Cat lovers will probably meet “un gato negro.” For a holiday home, it is pleasantly finished, but it is not a regular residential house. The first downside is the layout with walk-through rooms: living room/kitchen, then the sleeping area, and at the very end the toilet/bathroom with glass doors (so noise carries easily, and the light can be disturbing at night when someone uses the bathroom). Apart from the first room, there are no windows; however, there is a skylight in the bathroom ceiling, which means being woken up by the sun in the morning. Unfortunately, the breakfast table is small and not very ergonomic – to open the fridge, one person has to get up from their chair. In the bathroom, there are no cabinets or shelves. The countertop sink is mounted on a wooden top fixed to what appears to be an old sewing machine base (which does not seem to handle water very well). The apartment has an open wardrobe frame with hangers, but again no shelves. There is, however, a desk with drawers. Reported issues: -One of the two gas burners does not work -The shower holder needs tightening -The shower cabin silicone is moldy – it should be replaced immediately The internet speed was sufficient (40–90 Mbps). Good for peace and quiet and as a base to explore the south and center of the island (about 75 minutes by car to Corralejo). Less suitable if you expect close access to beach life, bars, and shops. Strong 7/10 due to layout and ergonomics.
