Wonderful, comfortable stay in the mountains

The property is located about 2.5km from Lake Bled. There is a convenient free local bus just outside the apartment that runs three times per day to Lake Bled. Vintgar gorge is about 20 minutes walk away. There is a shop about five minutes walk away. The views are stunning. The owner Danica, is very hospitable and kind. She cooked us beautiful apple pie and pancakes. The accommodation is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. There is a balcony to take in the beautiful view.

The village location is beautiful and still only a short distance from town (30 minutes walk - easy to cycle, bus or drive) Host was very attentive and helpful with recommendations etc.

Amazing apartment with a super host

We loved the spacious apartment and the overall look of it. It's modern but still cozy and very spacious. For winter times the apartment was well heated. The host was super nice and always in a good mood even if our 3 toddlers were running around for hours to end.

Lovely apartment in Beautiful Bled

Our stay at Danica’s home was truly special. I travelled with my husband, four children and my mother and we all slept comfortably. The loft space was a hit with our kids but my mother also slept there so good for adults too! There was laundry and a spacious living room/kitchen which was well-stocked. The large covered balcony was my favorite - lined with beautiful flowers and a lovely view. There was a bus stop right beside the home but we chose to walk into Bled (a leisurely 35-40 min that even our five year old walked) as every street feels like you are walking in a postcard. Vintgar Gorje is also only a 20-25 min walk from here. The real gem of this vacation property, however, was the host Danica. She was a lovely Slovenian lady who treated us to homemade sweets and her amazing homemade tea from herbs in her garden. She belongs to a local polka group and we tried to go and see her dance but the restaurant was too booked so we were not able to. We thank you Danica for opening your home and welcoming us in to feel like family!

a perfect holiday with a perfect host

it’s a home away from home. we arrived late evening and were greeted with freshly baked apple strudel. the host is very helpful and I highly recommend this apartment. we were a family of 6 adults and our stay was perfect

Bus stop is 1 minute away for a bus that takes you down to Bled for free in 10 minutes. Good local restaurant 10 minutes away. Relaxed environment, nice host.

Sehr schön, noch ein wenig good of Slowenien

Das Apartment liegt in einem kleinen Ortsteil von Bled, ca. 2 km vom Zentrum. Damit umgeht man die großen Touristenströme. Es ist sehr geräumig und die Küche ist vollständig ausgerichtet, ein großer Balkon mit Blick in die Julischen Alpen ergänzt sehr schön. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und es gab einen "Begrüßungskuchen". Ein kleiner Supermarkt liegt 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Für Familien mit Kindern ist das Apartment sehr empfehlenswert.

Es gibt nur 1 Bad/Toilette, das ist aber mit Badewanne, Dusche etc. sehr groß.
