Brema Beach is just around the corner and the shuttlebus to Sirmione Centro Storico too. It's the perfect base to explore the area, but have a quiet retreat as well. Our contact lady was super friendly.
One time there were ants in our appartment, but that can happen as we know from previous trips to Italy. We got it under control with traps + spray from the supermarket.
