Iris Villas Complex

Clean rural yet close to everything

Everything, very modern, clean, everything you need in an apartment

Would of been nice if it had a seperate bathroom

We had a really lovely stay. There were just two of us in a two-bedroom villa, so we had loads of space, and the whole place felt very modern, comfortable and exceptionally clean. Having our own private pool was a real highlight, and the outdoor area around the pool was fantastic, with plenty of space to relax. Communication throughout our stay was excellent, and a special mention has to go to Vangelis, the concierge, who was absolutely outstanding. He genuinely couldn’t have done more for us. He was always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, helping us organise taxis and even sorting out a car for our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble. A beautiful, spacious place with fantastic service. We had a great stay and felt very well looked after.

There really wasn’t much we didn’t like, so these are very minor points. As a couple of other reviewers have mentioned, a dishwasher would have been a useful addition, and we found the beds quite firm, although of course that’s down to personal preference. There is currently some construction work taking place next door, so we occasionally heard a truck or some drilling, but in reality it was probably only for an hour or two during the day and wasn’t particularly intrusive. Overall, none of this really affected our stay and we had a great time.

This new property (less then 2yr old) is superbly designed and well appointed with 2x bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 living room and 1 fully equipped kitchen. The outside terrace is large and the swimming pool was ideal to relax after a day by the sea. The property is ideally situated for quick access to Lefkada town and also the roads to either the West or the East side of the island. There is a mini market nearby and further there are 2 supermarkets (Lidl, Carrefour). The property was built within an area of olive orchards, so it's very quiet. The caretaker was super helpful and quick to respond on WhatsApp. An excellent service. We will come back!

Nothing to comment really. Just be careful with the steps of the swimming pool: they are a bit slippery but once you know, there is no problem.
