Southern Paradise Villas - Private Pool

The house is finished excellently, all the rooms, including the bathrooms are modern and fully equipped. It feels like a new home inside. It is located close to the beach and restaurants in Kalamaki.

Only 3 sunbeds for up to 6 guests isn’t great, plenty of room for 6 beds.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The villa is beautifully designed and thoughtfully constructed. From the quality materials and smart layout to the connected garage, everything felt new, fresh, and impeccably clean. The little touches - plenty of bath towels, bottled water waiting for us, and the overall attention to detail—made us feel immediately at home. The pool was the perfect size and depth for cooling off after a day of exploring. The location was ideal for our family. It was peaceful and just outside of Chania, yet within easy driving distance of everywhere we wanted to visit, including Balos, Elafonissi, Falassarna, Seitan, and Chania's Old Town. We also loved that the beach was just steps from the villa, making it perfect for an early morning swim or a relaxing dip in the afternoon. I noticed a few reviews mentioning the narrow street, but it wasn't an issue for us at all. In fact, one of our favorite memories was meeting the neighborhood duck, who happily sat outside nearly every day. He became a fun conversation topic for our entire family and added to the charm of the neighborhood. Mr. Leandros has truly created something special. I could easily picture this becoming our second home. We especially loved that each of the three bedrooms had its own private bathroom, giving everyone their own comfortable suite within the villa. The layout was perfect, with one bedroom on the main floor and two upstairs. The connected lower level, with indoor parking and a laundry area, was another feature we appreciated every day. Having a cool car waiting in the garage after long, hot summer outings was a luxury we didn't realize we'd enjoy so much. We would gladly stay here again.

We were honestly more disappointed to leave than anything else. Yes, there was an occasional barking dog a few houses away, just as others have mentioned, but it never bothered us. You're staying in a real Cretan neighborhood, so it's only natural to hear everyday sounds from time to time. It certainly didn't take away from our wonderful stay, and we'd happily come back.

The villa was soooooo nice! Everything looked and worked like new. A rare mix of cosyness and elegance. The host was also very helpful and welcoming.

Lovely big duplex apartment in a block of three in quiet location. Close to beach and supermarkets and three food places. Excellent A/C. Lots of shaded areas. Comfortable and modern. On bus route to Chania or pick up tourist coast bus on the beachfront road.

The pool was very noisy on cleaning cycle which was for 8 hours during the day. It was impossible to relax with the elephant snoring (that's what it sounded like). Why not clean the pool during the night or get it fixed? No reaction from owner on this issue. The view from the pool is dominated by the ugly block across the road but nice if limited views from master bedroom balcony. There was no handrail for the stairs which put the upper floor out of bounds for one of our party. The garage parking is a challenge. I damaged the bottom of my hired car with the steep incline from the road. From the gouges in the concrete, not the first to do so. Inside very tight and I was told to access my allocated space to reverse down as it was impossible to drive directly into it. The doors to the en-suite bathrooms are frosted glass so with no blinds on the en-suite windows it creates a light box effect so the bedroom cannot be dark after dawn. Not so good if you want a lie in. Beds were a bit hard for me but others thought they were fine.
