This hostel is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Not having to pay for parking was a plus. All the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a good continental breakfast. The hostel price is very affordable considering rates in the San Diego area.
I was very satisfied with my stay and would stay again.

Been coming here for years. Remember when it was the HI Point Loma hostel.
Miss the jacuzzi. Five dollars for a towel rental seems like a lot.

The location
Too many people (staff of the hostel as well) smoking weed/cannabis and partying too loud:( their TV is LOUD at night until 1-2 am and when sleeping above it it’s impossible me to sleep even with earplugs!!
