It was a perfect stay in Biarritz, our home away from home. Isabelle was the most attentive host. The apartment was beautiful and the garden made it even better. The apartment is located in a very nice suburban area of Biarritz. I can only recommend the place to stay.

La Quintita is a charming Bed & Breakfast in Biarritz. If you are looking for a romantic getaway or simply a stay in a bucolic backdrop this is the place to stay. It is a 10minute drive to the Grande Plage Biarritz and conveniently located near a bus stop that takes you directly to the beach. The hosts Isabelle and Gael are very welcoming and friendly. We were first greeted in the main lounge where we were served with warm tea prepared with fresh thyme from the garden. Almost everything served by the hosts is homemade with local products from le Pays Basque. But before I get into the food part, I have to say something about the room we stayed in. Our bedroom and private bathroom were immaculately clean.The beds were very comfortable with soft and bouncy pillows and linens are the same quality as in 5 star hotels. We really enjoyed basking in the sun in our own private balcony enjoying the morning views of French villas and pine trees. When we went for breakfast in the main lounge, we did not expect that it would be a gastronomic experience! Gael and Isabelle are incredibly detail oriented. They just don’t make an œuf à la coque the simple way: 5 mins in boiling water. They make it in a “cocotte minute”with a special thermometer and timer to get the most perfect color and egg consistency you can imagine. Everything they make is made with so much dedication and love for what they do. Their coffee is delicious, made with carefully grinded coffee beans. Isabelle and Gael are coffee lovers as we learned and real perfectionist when it comes to making a real good cup of coffee. We loved their homemade scones, yogurt, hot chocolate, baguette, croissants, pain au chocolat. Everything is beautifully displayed on top of wine barrels in the breakfast lounge. My husband and I travel frequently and love staying in different B&B and vacation rentals. We both agree that this one particularly stands out in terms of quality and overall experience.
