Good location, near the ferry and a fruit market. Quite clean

Didn't include a washing machine as advertised. Wanted to charge R200 for 1 load in their shared machine even when I showed the booking had a machine included in the room inclusions. Took an hour to check in, despite arriving as scheduled - so just be ready to not get straight out and into fun when you arrive - just a slow multi-perdon process

Everything was absolutely perfect! The location was ideal, very close to the port and surrounded by everything you might need: restaurants, shops, and beautiful places to walk around. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable. One of the best parts was the breakfast: freshly prepared every morning and brought directly to our terrace. Honestly, what more could you ask for? We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

The property itself is clean, compact, and conveniently located right near the ferry jetty. Jude met us at the ferry upon arrival, which was a nice touch, and the room was comfortable for a short stay. Patio and garden were nice too

However, be very mindful when settling your bill. The reservation was listed in SCR on Booking.com, but the owner converted the price from EUR using an inflated exchange rate, resulting in us paying roughly 20% (about SCR 300) more than the confirmed Booking.com price. Because cash on arrival was required, there was no way to trace or verify the discrepancy through the app. While the room is decent, the unexpected surcharge left a bad impression. Host also tried to push us to rent bikes at inflated prices (25% higher) from him which we thankfully dodged.
