Fabulous hotel. Really friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Super comfy bed and lovely pool outside. Excellent wine list.

Dinner menu was limited.

Beautiful venue & grounds

Service was not good. For example, we had to ask three times for our drinks at lunch. At dinner, they brought an amuse-bouche but did not ask beforehand if we had any allergies. It was only when I asked what was inside and informed them of my dietary requirements that it was taken away. We were also not informed until 2:45 p.m. on Sunday that the hotel closed after 3 p.m. on Sundays. No one explained any services or details to us at check-in.

This is a stunning old property, charming and beautiful which has been magnificently renovated. Our room was really spacious, very attractive with views across the vineyards, beautifully appointed with an excellent modern bathroom, we loved it.

The food was disappointing and breakfast not to up to the expectations of other similar places we’ve stayed in. We paid for coffee and a bakery basket whereas elsewhere we would have had a buffet of cheeses, charcuterie fresh fruit, yogurts etc. There was a more expensive option which included some of this but it was not a buffet.

They had done the refurbishment of the hotel very well.

The Breakfast was really poor. We chose the so called gourmet breakfast which was inferior to most breakfasts in other hotels and cost 25 euros each. You received what they wanted to give you not what you wanted and then when it came to eggs you had to boil them yourselves- no choice of type of eggs. Not gourmet at all. Then we had to contend with wasps all over-OK that was not their fault but they could have advised that was a likely problem and advised that we ate inside.
