Pakio Luxury Villa : Private Cretan Holidays

La piscine est très agréable ainsi que le jardin. Le village de Milatos est de petite taille mais vivant, de bons restaurants y sont présents. La villa dispose de l’équipement nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour

Dommage de ne pas pouvoir faire de barbecue et peu d’éléments aquatiques pour la piscine (bouées, ballon….)

Pakio Villa was lovely and clean. Pool was delightful and showers were amazing! Good size for a family of 4!

As lovely as it was, property was not exactly as advertised. It’s an apartment in the bottom half of a villa. Garden is private, only as long as no one upstairs is using the balcony! The following descriptions should be removed: Beachfront- it isn’t Bathrooms with bath ( only showers, but very good ones) 24hr front desk- no front desk, limited contact with host. Onsite restaurant- not one Car and bike hire at villa - not available. We sourced independently and I would say a car is a must at this property. Aircon in bedrooms was also not working for our entire stay which did make the nights quite hot. We reported immediately on arrival but not fixed during our stay. None of the above was problematic for us and we had a lovely time, but the mention of facilities that are not available should be removed.

The pictures I’m afraid are very misleading for this “villa”. (See photo below with area not included in villa shaded in blue.) The photos of the listing and the description clearly suggest the whole villa is rented but in fact it is just the lower floor which consists of more like an apartment. The upper floor is another property which overlooks the pool, privacy would be a real issue here. The photos online suggest that the whole villa is included but this is certainly not the case. The two rooms and a kitchen / living room area are nice and the place is clean as is the pool but had we known what we know now would certainly not have booked, especially at these prices. Hand over of keys was difficult and the property has clearly been marked on Google maps at a different much larger location which you can’t help but think is deliberate, we arrived at this location, having called the host in advance to advise of arrival. We were then told this was the wrong location and we should drive to another villa. We were then left waiting 45 minutes for them to arrive. We also did expect some things such as perhaps some water and basic essentials to be left at the property but there was quite literally nothing. No info booklets or anything. Very disappointing.
