WHITE HOUSE SORRENTO - CASA VACANZA

Amazing for families. White House Sorrento was an absolutely wonderful stay and an exceptional value compared with so many of the other options we considered in Sorrento. First: the air conditioning!!! It cooled the rooms incredibly quickly. If you are visiting Sorrento during the summer, this matters more than you might realize. Coming home after a hot day to a genuinely cool apartment was glorious. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean, quiet, comfortable and incredibly well thought out. The beds were comfortable and everything from the kitchen supplies, coffee and storage to the towels, lighting, outlets and instructions made it feel like a home rather than simply a vacation rental. It felt as though someone had actually thought about what guests would need. And for families: the pool! Our kids loved it. It was clean, a good size and easy to access. A fantastic bonus in Sorrento. Just be aware that the pool hours are strict and it closes automatically at if I remember it correctly 7 PM, presumably to maintain quiet in the surrounding residential neighborhood. The apartment itself was also remarkably quiet at night. The host was exceptional. She was extremely helpful, gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations and even went out of her way to source a taxi contact for us when we were having difficulty finding transportation. The location is the only thing worth understanding before booking. It’s about a 25 minute walk to the city center. For a family! The walk along the main road can look a little intimidating on Google Maps, but in reality it felt completely normal and we wouldn’t have thought much of it under ordinary circumstances. I had limited mobility during our trip, which made the distance much more difficult for us. Taxis in Sorrento were surprisingly difficult to get and cost us around €30 35 each way, so anyone with mobility limitations should take that into consideration.

Anna was a fantastic host who met us and sent us on a huge number of recommendations. The apartment itself was spacious and fantastically equipped. The balcony and pool were fabulous. Air conditioning was amazing. Amazing location

Honestly nothing -- clean, lovely place. Perfectly kitted out.
