More of a glorified backpackers’ hostel. More suitable for young adults. Rooftop parties every weekend till late. Music blaring till late from other venues in the vicinity on weekdays. Cleaning is irregular. Reception is not manned. Room (101) was ok but bathroom was extremely small and needs renovation or deep cleaning. No wardrobes, no complimentary water in the room. All stairs and no lift re. carrying luggage. Staff was helpful but they never reply to questions via Agoda though. Location was great although taxi bringing from airport dropped us off 5-10 minutes away from the hotel door and we had to walk uphill with luggage but pickup for returning to airport was from the hotel door which was great. Mediterranean style breakfast was good and adequate and timing very casual. The location is in old town and many shops and restaurants are nearby. Pier is also around 10 minutes’ walking distance for more waterside eateries and boat rides.

Agoda should be thoroughly ashamed asvertising this as clean, comfortable and a rating of 8.5! This place is a cesspit! Dirty, smelly, dark and downright appalling! Bedding and towels are old and dirty, there is plaster and paint peiling from the walls and ceilings, light fittings without bulbs, flooring so dirty it’s sticky underfoot, the toilet is bogging - wouldn’t wash my butt in that dirty shower and had to hover over the toilet pan to urinate! Paid for 14 nights and stayed for one (because we arrived too late to do anything about it!). Refused to refund for remainder of days even though both Agoda and the owners know that what I’m saying is 100% true. The place is a dive! Go somewhere else …. anywhere else!
