Limonero New City Apartment 2 with Private Parking

The apartment was a ground floor, it was clean, everything was new, close to the pharmacy, supermarket, and cafes. The host, Filipa, was very attentive to requests, highly recommended.

The location was good and it has parking which is very important in Lefkada, the host was very friendly and helpful as recommend us best beaches and restaurants.

Too small studio little air, inside it was too hot and you should leave the A/C all night on.

The property was very up to date. Perfect for a couple. Lovely walk in shower and the bed was very comfortable. Smart TV allowed us to watch tv in bed and play music from YouTube. 5 minute walk from the high street and maybe 7-10 mins to the marina. They also allowed us to check out later for half the price of a nights stay. Would recommend to anyone staying in Lefkada.

the property was close to the town, close to a cafe, restaurant, supermarket and bakery. The apartment was relatively newly refurbished and at first sight looked really nice. There was a washing machine a small oven and a fridge, a kettle a small table a two chairs. There was an small area outside it that was fenced off with a metal table and two chairs, also parking on the pavement.

We had arrived a little early and asked if the apartment was ready. The owner explained that checking is at 3, but if we are about we can check if the cleaners have been. We went off exploring leaving all our bags in the car and returned at 3, no keys nobody there! I called the owner and she explained that there is traffic and the person delivering the key is delayed. I am Greek and know that there is no traffic at that time as the shops shut at 2. She said they will be with us soon, I asked how long does that mean as we are outside in the sizzling sun and she said 30min!!! When I said what happen to 3 checking time she was rather rude saying that I was too early, so I said never mind me being early checking is at 3 you said but no checking has taking place. I got off the phone and then the penny dropped that not only there was nobody to give us the key but the cleaners hadn’t been in and that it was them that would also give us the key. So that put a dampener to our stay already. We waited at the near by cafe looking out for anybody approaching the apartment. At 3:30 the cleaners turned up, I went to speak to them, they apologized explaining that they are short staffed and said that they will have the room ready in 10min! For which I said NO I don’t want it ready in 10min as it is impossible to clean anything properly in that time, I said please take your time to clean properly. Covid has set the hygiene bar high in expectation!!! By 4 the cleaners had finished. She was about to leave when I asked for the key, we were given a key with no instruction on how things work. I would rather the owner was honest with us and explained that they are running late then lying to us. They could do better with the utensils, crockery and cutlery, there was an odd small expression cup, odd mugs, no bowls for cereal.
