Small room few amenities, but the only descent place in Bolinas

We were in the back side, not above the saloon. It was a nice, serene area and clean little hotel. Beds were comfy. I thought we were going to hear people in the saloon all night, but not at all. The town is neat and the people are nice. The beach is walking distance. The food in the stores and restaurants were all fresh and healthy options. The whole town is very animal friendly.
There's nothing really I didn't like. We went there with an open mind. Just know there's no TV, parking is on a steep gravel hill, check in through the bar, and all the stores close by 6pm.

Bolinas was an unexpected pleasure to visit - we chose it mostly because it was the nearest place to stay to somewhere else we were visiting, but found it to be a delightful location.
Smileys appears to be the only place to stay in Bolinas, and the rooms were small but OK. On a Monday the only place to eat in evening was the bar at Smileys, and food was OK rather than great but expensive.
Perhaps it was the right time of year, but location was not busy, and weather was very good. The beach at Bolinas is a great place to hang out, and the rest of the (small) town interesting too.
Wifi in room fairly dodgy. Rooms quite small. Door to the ensuite in our room didn't close properly. Room was relatively expensive for what you got.
