what a view! even though we had lots of clouds and could only see mt. hood the last day, the views of the columbia were epic.

When you enter this driveway of fir trees and boulders, you know you are in for a tranquil retreat. But when you enter the front door and view the Columbia River (and Oregon) from the massive windows you know you are also in for a truly unique and stunning location. On rainy mornings the view was enough to leave you spell bound. On rainy evenings, the outdoor spa was enough to leave you totally relaxed. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well appointed and the living area a great place to watch the lights come on across the river. Occasionally Mt. Hood peeked out and eagles were always present. The house was in a quiet setting - although there were several cars next door, we never heard our neighbors, In close proximity were stunning hikes, shops, restaurants and orchards. We lucked out that the White Salmon Wine Walk was the weekend we were there. Don't miss it! We highly recommend this home as your next getaway and we hope to return in the spring to this exact spot.

It’s about the view, and tranquility of the surroundings!

This is a wonderful house especially if you love an amazing view and great privacy. It was clean and everything worked. We never tired watching the beautiful view of Hood River, mt. Hood, boats and wind surfers and birds, at all different hours of the day and night. It’s at eye level with hawks who love to ride the updrafts. The kitchen is nicely équiped and remodeled. The living room was small but pleasant and felt bigger as it faces the spectacular view. The master bedroom king bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious, nice linens and clean towels. Our only suggestion for the house is improving the second bedroom bed. We wished it had a larger bed and most of all a much more comfortable bed (it was a full), as unfortunately the mattress is just too firm, thin and uncomfortable. Even a nice memory foam or latex topper would be a big improvement. Otherwise Thank you very much for a lovely stay in a lovely spot!

Who cares about a small TV when you spend the whole time looking at the VIEW

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend staying here. The AC provided comfort during the hot spell. The home is well appointed and the beds comfortable. Lots of different places to sit to enjoy the view. White Salmon is a sweet little town and we were glad we weren't over in busy Hood River. We thought we landed in the perfect spot. The grandchildren enjoyed hanging out down at the Hatch for windsurfing.

We have stayed in several rentals before in Hood River and this one is by far our favorite one. The view is amazing and the house has everything we needed to make our stay memorable.

We were so happy with our accommodations! Easy in and out and so many ways to enjoy the view. We love to eat in and cook fabulous meals. Kitchen could have used a tad more in the way of serving dishes and dishware but we managed fine. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home.

This house is great! If you want to have a huge visually impactful view during your stay, choose this awesome home. It's got the view, and is nicely equipped for a nice visit in White Salmon. It was a nice addition to a weekend full of childhood memories and reunion activities.

Definitely exceeded my expectations. Needed the time between death and the funeral for my best friend. House took my breath away and gave me the space to process my lost. Would love to return once time becomes available.

This is an absolutely stunning property. It looks amazing in pictures and it is even more amazing in real life. We traveled with 4 adults (two groups of friends) and one infant. Upon arrival the lights were on in the house and waiting for us. The house and windows looking out were spotless. The pictures online are exactly how it looks. The kitchen in this home is well stocked. Appliances were clean and nothing was broken. There were no strange smells, noises, or things that were needed that were missing from the home. The main living area of the home was comfortable. Everything is geared toward looking at the view, which is why you are there! We caught some of the most amazing sunrises and even a lightning storm. Looking across the river, watching the barges, and catching the sunset are all just amazing from this property. The hot tub here was the cleanest hot tub I had ever seen at a rental home. Bring your suit! The view from the tub is amazing. It would have been helpful to have a mirror in the "kid" room. The only mirror (besides the master bath) is in the small bathroom. The TV is small, as other reviews have stated, and bring your games! This home does not have a stash of games to play. The neighborhood is quiet. We saw deer every morning in the yard and it is super close to the small cute town of White Salmon. Be sure to check out Henni's and Everybody's Brewing for dinner! We would 100% stay again and highly recommend this home!

We came from Fort Lauderdale to escape the heat for a few days. Met up with a family member who has a home in Spokane and drove over to White Salmon. The home more than met our expectations. View was incredible day and night. Had a few days of rain but still found things to do and knew we would be coming back to this wonderful home each evening to relax and just enjoy the view. Would definitely come back here and do it again. Thanks for a great stay!!

First and foremost the view is fabulous, saying it is a million dollar view is shorting the view value by tens of millions of dollars. Place is well appointed, great location, great setting, and just a fabulous place. Would stay again if the chance ever permits.

The view was beautiful and ever-changing. We never got tired of watching the kite surfers and barges below.

there are ants inside. they must know because they put out 1 ant trap on the county. they need to have ants sprayed they are everyone in the house. a few but you do not want it getting worse. over all it really was a nice house.

It was a great location to view the airplanes flying in for the event at the WAAM museum.

The expansive view of Mt Hood, the Columbia River, and the town of Hood River was stunning!! The home was clean, updated, comfortable, and well-stocked. The hot tub overlooking the gorge was clean, hot, bubbly and a great place to hang out day or night. So beautiful! Eating breakfast on the deck was a peak experience. Really, I cannot say enough about this house and this view. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights, and it was the perfect getaway for me and my husband and our two grown children. We spent time in both towns: White Salmon and Hood River. Thoroughly enjoyed our vacation!!!

Absolutely gorgeous setting on the Columbia River. The perfect place for a relaxed vacation with friends and base for day trips. Beautiful decks, a hottub for cooler evenings, and lovely dining and living area. We deemed it a perfect spot!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We used the BBQ and ate our dinner overlooking the river. The hot tub was at the right temp and very clean. I would rent the house again!

We walked in and saw the view and it took our breathe away!! From the whole wall of windows you can see the Colombia River and Mount Hood. We loved playing games on the deck and hanging out in the hot tub. Highly recommend this home!!
