About this cottage rental
Enjoy a relaxing year-round retreat at this 3-bedroom modern cottage. Great for couples or families with kids! This cottage has 2 double beds and a bunk room (2 bunks, 1 single, and 1 futon).
Patterson Lake is a great place to experience nature first hand. Deer, loons, frogs, turtles, and more can be spotted!
Clear and deep water also makes for great swimming and fishing! You can catch bass, sunfish, perch, pickerel, pike, and walleye.

Please note that there is another cottage located on the property. There may also be unleashed dogs on neighbouring properties.
Bath towels, Beach Towels, and Linens (Sheets and Pillow cases) are NOT provided. Please bring your own.
Pillows and Duvets will be provided.
Please be aware we are on septic, and only toilet paper can be flushed. NO feminine hygiene products or diapers in the toilet
Guests are responsible for removing ALL garbage and recycling from the property. There is NO garbage collection. Please clean dishes.
Limited cell reception
Starlink Wireless Internet is available; High speed for internet browsing, downloads, emails. VOIP and video calls work well most of time but may have a few seconds of lag every now and then. Performance may vary during weather events (heavy rain, snow, etc.)
There may have been pets on the property prior to your stay; this cottage may not be not suitable if you have cat or dog allergies.

-Please wash your dishes after use. If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees may be applied.
-Please clean off BBQ after use
-Do not leave outdoor fire unattended, once done pour a bucket of water on the fire
-Take all garbage and recycling with you when you leave
-Shut off lights when leaving
Breaking the rules may also result in the following fees being applied:
-Unregistered guests at the property $100 per person per day
-Leaving Unwashed dishes: $100
-Bringing undisclosed pets on the property: $300
-Smoking: $500

Glenn’s Lanark Highlands property exceeded all our expectations. Weeks before our arrival, Glenn provided a thorough list of details about the property, including the best local grocery stores, nearby recreation activities, and other helpful tips, he truly left nothing out. His thoughtful communication and attention to our needs ensured our stay would be fantastic.The property itself is perfectly secluded in a beautiful wooded area overlooking a serene lake. We enjoyed paddle boards, a canoe, pool table, ping pong, a fire pit, a grill, and that spectacular lake view, it was impossible to get bored. Pet friendly and clean. The combination of amenities and peaceful surroundings made for an unforgettable, much-needed family time.The nearby town residents were warm and welcoming, adding to the charm of our stay. Glenn was an exceptional host, and both the property and amenities were truly unbeatable. This is easily one of the best places we’ve stayed in years. Five stars hardly does it justice. We’d give it a perfect 10 out of 10!

Great stay. Patterson lake is great for swimming and has very little boat traffic. The cottage has two bathrooms and comfortable mattresses. Upstairs you will find everything you need. The internet and TV worked really well. We enjoyed the BBQ and deck at night. It was very hot but all the fans worked well. We had a lovely day in Perth which is 35 minutes away. We would definitely recommend this cottage!

We had a great week at Patterson Lake. The cottage is spacious and well-equipped. The kayaks and paddle boards made it easy to enjoy the lake. Loved the tree-house-like setting in the woods. Great fire pit and indoor games as well. Highly recommend.

Our stay was amazing it a very nice area ! Tucked away from everything but still just a short 30 min drive to a major town the cottage is very nice pool table was fun for our rainy days water was beautiful as well and pet friendly so that was awesome ! Our host was great to deal with he noticed the handle broke off the microwave the day before we showed up so he got a brand new one and had it set up and ready for us even messaged apologizing and explaining why there are two microwaves great cottage massive windows upstairs for those hot days because it does get hot upstairs but a great stay
