Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort - Soft All-Inclusive

The experience was fabulous The hotel is a hidden gem, providing high value for money, very clean, very hospital staff, food was beyond expectations. Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud from the front office, before our arrival I felt his hospitality and how he was keen on settling us to the best rooms in the hotel, he was doing his best to fix the AC problem. Mr. Abdelfattah head of the beach restaurant and Chef Moustafa head chef of the restraunt they were beyond expectations and accomodating my daughter's Gluten free diet. Chef Ahmed on the pizza station was beyond excellent. Chef Ibrahim Hassan on pasta station. The whole staff were very welcoming and smiling and always looking after our comfort. And ofcourse Mr. Sherief Khairy the Duty Manager was welcoming us and making sure that everything is comfortable every morning at the breakfast.

Slightly outdated room furniture

The property was like a paradise. The people were really nice and kind. The village offered a lot of activities as diving, snorkeling, massage. The food was good and various, the e trance to the sea from the village was incredible.

The hotel has a beautiful garden, which is an oasis in the middle of the desert. A great variety of food. A clinic with a doctor is available on the hotel grounds - don’t forget your insurance though.

1. Swimming pools are very cold at all times, which is why nobody can swim there. It’s a shame. 2. Another point is regarding food: the best variety of grilled meat and desserts is, unfortunately, available in the evenings only - which is a problem for those who would like to eat such dishes in the afternoons and enjoy a lighter meal before sleep. Those who lead a healthy lifestyle and would like to avoid weight gain will understand what I mean. 3. If you have a sensitive stomach, Egyptian food and water may affect your digestive system. Be prepared. Also wash your hands thoroughly before eating and avoid eating too many sweets. 4. Also a remark regarding the location: For those who are not good swimmers - swimming in the shallow is impossible because of the reef, so there is only a long wooden bridge leading to the deep waters. Apart from that, if you’re afraid of venomous stingrays that are seen in many places on the bottom while swimming, as well as some venomous fish - this is not for you - if you seek complete relaxation. Just a friendly warning :) for divers it’s a cool location though.

Wadi Lahmy is a little paradise! It is a beautiful place to stay with excellent sea swimming. The gardens are very well looked after that encourage wildlife to visit. We spent Christmas here, and the hotel put on an amazing gala dinner. We came for the kitesurfing and enjoyed so much more.

Perhaps there could be less meat on the menu to support the Green accreditation.
