right on the beach, nice private lawn area to sit. We were on ground floor with very nice patio. Spent all of our time in the water or on the patio or lawn. very nice. Ate at local restaurants (Siracco was fantastic) and reasonable prices.
Weekends in summer in Lygaria are VERY crowded with both tourists and the local area families. But much less crowded on week days.

Very nice location, beautiful view from terrace towards the sea/bay, with a nice green garden. A few restaurants in the area, although not each of them had opened yet (end April) and season was starting up. Clean and hygiene excellent. Contact with Nikos was easy and fast. Any additional items such as a additional comforter were delivered quick, and minor problems were resolved immediately.
We expected the holiday season to start a bit earlier, but is was still relatively quiet. Crete however is a fantastic island to explore by car, and we have seen some amazing scenery and enjoyed our stay.
