Medina Torrecilla Beach Casasol

Location and facilities.

No balcony with view and odour emanating from toilet.

Great location. It’s not the most modern of buildings but the apartment itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped, well maintained. Plenty of eating places nearby, a couple of supermarkets just across the road. Around five minutes walk from the beach with its own small pool on the roof which each day we were the only people using during our 5 day visit. We arrived just after midnight on our first night and the young man who met us with the keys made us feel really welcome and that makes a real difference. Comms between yourself and the Casasol seems to be so easy too.

It only has a ‘Juliet’ balcony so no seating and just a view of the internal area of the building but it didn’t spoil our stay. I personally always get a little stressed when there is only one set of keys and it’s so easy to pop out and let the door close behind you.

The location was good with plenty of restaurants, bars & supermarkets in the vicinity. The apartment was very close to the beach and it was a 15 minute walk to The Balcon. We had a small issue with he bedlinen when we arrived but Casasol, the management company, very quickly put everything right for us.

There was a local family with two young children in the apartment next door the walls were paper thin between the bedroom and their apartment. They cried and screamed from the minute they woke up until 8.30 every morning, until I presume they went to school and nursery, and they were still at it whenever we were back at the apartment in the early evening to get ready to go out. Thankfully they were asleep when we got back at night that allowed us a few hours sleep before it started again in the morning.
