Come to relax, work or play at this beautiful lakefront / waterfront home located in Belmont, NC - just outside of Charlotte. #lakewylielivin for our Insta tag!
We offer both short term and discounted longer terms stays! Send us a message for any interest in longer term discounted rentals!
Over 200ft of shoreline nestled into a deep-water cove and located towards the end of a private road ensures privacy and tranquility. A great spot to enjoy the outdoors and wake up to a beautiful sunrise every single morning.
This 2100 sqft home offers 3 full bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 full workstations including monitors, docking stations and high speed internet.
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED
The home has 3 bedrooms (K, Q, Q) 2 of which have folding twin beds stored for extra sleepers. The main living area features 2 pull out queen sleeper sofas and there is another full pull-out couch bed in the office.
The office and master bed have remote working stations setup for your use. They both feature monitors and docking stations and high-speed internet.
The garage/game room area contains a ping pong table, foosball table and 2 player Pop-a-Shot basketball games! Cornhole and other yard games are available for your usage as well.
The outdoor space features covered upper and lower decks with seating areas, rocking chairs and a big back yard that overlooks the water with amazing sunrise views to enjoy your morning coffee.
Relax in the hammock, roast smores while sitting around the firepit, use the gas grill for a nice cookout and enjoy the floating dock and small beach that provides access to the water.
There are 2 adult fishing kayaks, 2 children’s kayaks, 2 standup paddleboards available for you to use.
Pontoon/Tritoon boats may also be rented based on availability (separate charge)- host may need to access property for boat with advanced communication to guest on rare occasions.

5 Cars maximum - driveway parking only
10 people MAXIMUM at the property
Absolutely no smoking or vaping in the house
No illegal substances, firearms or fireworks allowed on the property
Quiet Time is 11pm - please respect our neighbors
Only a single dog, under 50lbs is allowed with approval.
SEPTIC: This property is on a septic system - no feminine products or wipes of any kind (including flushable) can be flushed down the toilets. These products cause harm to the system and result in clogged pipes.
ALL USE OF THE LAKE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THERE ARE NO LIFEGUARDS.
1. Use at your own risk – property owners accept no liability for any loss of any kind once you enter into a body of water or proceed past the shoreline.
2. Children. No child under the age of 18 may use the lake (e.g., for swimming, boating, fishing, or wading), unless they are supervised by an adult who is capable of providing emergency assistance.
3. Life jackets must be worn at all times when on the lake.

Oh, what a delightful escapade we had at the lake house! It was as if we had stumbled into a real-life postcard, complete with all the charm and quirks one could hope for. Picture this: sipping on a steaming cup of coffee, bleary-eyed but blissfully content, as the early morning sun decided to make a grand entrance, painting the sky in hues that would make even the most seasoned artist jealous. It was the kind of morning that makes you believe in the magic of life, or at the very least, the magic of a good cup of joe.And then there was the kayaking! We paddled around like a couple of intrepid explorers, except instead of discovering new lands, we discovered the best spots to avoid getting splashed by our own oars. It was a workout, a comedy show, and a nature documentary all rolled into one. Who knew that trying to steer a kayak could be so entertaining?But the pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the fishing. We stood on the dock, rods in hand, feeling like seasoned anglers ready to conquer the depths of the lake. And conquer we did! Our haul was nothing short of legendary—largemouth bass, white bass, catfish, and crappie so massive they could have starred in their own aquatic soap opera. We were practically swimming in fish, and I half-expected a fish to start narrating our adventure.In short, our stay was a spectacular symphony of sunrises, splashes, and spectacular catches. It was a taste of lake house living that left us yearning for more!

Excellent property, and Mike was a great host. Our family really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for five adults and two kids, and the house had everything we needed. The outdoor amenities were a big plus.The property included several kayaks for both kids and adults, a paddleboard, plenty of life jackets in different sizes, and even a kids fishing pole! Our kids especially enjoyed the beach area, where they spent a lot of time playing in the sand with all the toys provided. There were also plenty of outdoor seating options to relax and enjoy the views.The location was perfect. Right on a quiet, peaceful cove with very little boat traffic, and still only about 10 minutes from town, which is definitely worth visiting.I would also recommend renting a pontoon boat. Mike connected us with a local contact who provided great service, with easy drop-off and pickup right at the dock.Overall, it was a great stay. It’s a beautiful property, especially for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Our kids absolutely loved it!

Had a wonderful stay. The house and property are lovely. The home has every amenity possible. The owners put a lot thought in making the place incredibly comfortable. This is the perfect spot for family and friends. The owner was helpful and considerate. Excellent communication. Highly recommend.
