Terracotta beach house

It was by far the greatest place we have been to in Greece! We have been to other houses "on the beach", but this one is literally on the beach, the sea is in the backyard. The house is made with care for the comfort of the guests with enough shade in the front and in the back. Lounge chairs in the yard, tables, everything. The interior is also very comfortable, we didn't miss anything. The living room is spacious and airy, we didn't even need to switch on the air conditioning on the first floor. Beds are comfortable and you feel well rested in the morning. The hosts were really kind and not imposing. There are also umbrellas and beach chairs you can use for the beach. Even kayaks, we practised with them and enjoyed a lot, a very nice touch so that you will not get bored at all. There is a kitchen with coffee, tea, water, ready and waiting for you to use after the long travel. Plenty of space to park the car. There is a ferry right to the city and then just 10mins to the house itself. There is a nice beach taverna right next to the house, very decent food and not noisy at all. The beach is nice with shallow waters, very suitable for kids, they can learn to swim and be free to feel and enjoy the sea. Well, the list is long, but it is a very nice place indeed! We will definitely visit again.

Nothing major really. Only if I have to think of something, there are no mosquito nets on the bedroom windows, only in the living room. But it was not a problem because you can use the air conditioning or, as I said, on the ground floor, there is even no need, we ventilated it all through the living room. There were birds now, swallows trying to build a nest above the back porch, so they made it a bit dirty, but again it was not a huge thing, because there were plenty of other comfy places we could hang out around the house.

The place is amazing, perfect for relaxing. The house has everything you need. There is also a taverna nearby. The water is clean and shallow, there are even 2 Kajaks that you can use. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

Die idyllische Lage des Hauses direkt am schönen Strand ist einfach einzigartig, nur ein paar Schritte vom Wasser entfernt. Mit kleinen Kindern perfekt, da man keine schweren Strandtaschen packen und schleppen muss und jederzeit ins Haus gehen kann. Die Taverne nebenan ist super für chillige Abendessen in traumhafter Atmosphäre. Haben wir mehrfach ausprobiert. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr umfangreich. Es gab wirklich nichts, was wir in der Unterkunft vermisst haben. Besonderes Plus sind die beiden Kajaks im Garten, die wir jeden Tag nutzen konnten, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Tony und seine Frau Silia sind tolle fürsorgliche Gastgeber, die sich um alles kümmern. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen von Tony und die Übergabe am Flughafen hat perfekt geklappt. Besser geht es nicht.

Lästig waren die vielen Mücken am Abend, besonders nach einem Regentag. Nach dem Urlaub hatte jeder von uns mindestens 20-30 Mückenstiche, aber dafür können die Gastgeber nichts.
