Misleading Room advertisement and unresponsive Host

I booked a room that was explicitly advertised as having a terrace but was instead given a room with only a French kind balcony. After I raised a complaint, the owner changed the room’s pictures and description on this platform. Despite this, they refused to provide any compensation or room change, also my bill was not adjusted accordingly. The owner also does not respond to any messages sent through this platform.

The holiday was ruined

the location was excellent, room was lovely

We arrived at our apartment at 10.30pm and could not get the code for the key box. It was sent by a link through whatsApp and had an error on the link. We had a number to contact on whats app, our only contact, which was a bot. We had to wait till the next day for the staff to arrive to give us the code. Gemma was very apologetic. I have requested a refund for the night we couldn't get in but they told me to contact booking.com. Booking.com have told me to contact the hotel. this is so frustrating and a terrible experience and no support. I am still waiting to hear from booking.com

Really good place! We recommend it.

Very nice quiet location, still close to the beach. Our little balcony, which was big enough for a small table and two chairs, looked over the restaurant but the awnings were up when it was open so we still had some privacy. The staff here, particularly Sandra, are super! They accommodated a change upon our arrival with a delightful manner that we have not found in many other places.

Only minor minor issue was we did not get our coffee replenished every morning.

Good apartment, but problem with Cleanliness of bedlinen.

I scored Cleanliness badly because of the situation: when I just entered my room, I felt I bad smell of sweat. But a specific smell of "sweat". The ones that are impregnated in the pillowcase on the bed. I asked myself "May they did not change/wash the pillowcase or bed linen." So when I put those 2 pillows out of the room (left on the balcony), the smell disappeared! So conclusion. Big problem with the cleanliness of bed linen. And Wifi did not work, was not connecting to my computer. Even putting the correct password and trying 3 times.

There was nothing wrong with the hotel really but value for money wise, I did not feel it worth it. The photos make it look way nicer than it is. Rooms are tiny.

El ambiente tranquilo e íntimo de la habitación, sumado a la amabilidad del personal y la resolución de un pequeño conflicto de fechas por equivocación propia la cual fue solucionada telefónicamente por la propietaria entre risas y buen humor hizo que más que una noche finalmente fueran dos y me salvará de una pequeña bronca en casa por eso de dejarlo para última hora

Cama super cómoda y entorno tranquilo

La cama era muy cómoda y el desayuno estuvo bastante bien. Te ponen café, té, chocolate y agua. Los geles de rituals huelen genial. No se oían ruidos de la calle.

La habitación parece más grande en las fotos. La ubicación es un poco complicada si vas en coche y necesitas llevar mucho equipaje, ya que es una calle inaccesible en coche y debes aparcar un poco lejos.

Buen hotel funcional

Lo que más me gustó fue la funcionalidad de la habitación, pequeña, pero muy cómoda. Aunque si hay algo que hay que destacar es la atención del personal del hotel, en concreto Carmen, extremadamente amable y muy orientada a que los huéspedes nos fuésemos con una sensación extraordinaria de la estancia.

El precio, aunque entiendo que en temporada alta es difícil encontrar mejores soluciones en toda esa zona.

Es war sauber

Schwer zu erreichen, schlechte Wegbeschreibung, für den Preis erwartet man ein Service und nicht KI gestützte Nachrichten und Meldesysteme. Das Waschbecken neben der Eingangstüre, das WC und die Dusche in einem gläsernen einsichtigen Verschlag, zudem war die Duscharmatur in einem desolaten Zustand! Kein Kasten und nur eine minimale Ablagefläche.

La ubicación, en el casco antiguo con encanto y cerca de la playa. La habitación funcional y con una bonita decoración. A destacar la amabilidad y la atención personalizada del personal, incluso anterior a la llegada, se pusieron en contacto conmigo para darme toda la información de ubicación, forma de acceder, aparcamientos, recomendaciones de restaurantes.... Es una maravilla encontrarse con profesionales tan amables q hacen que la estancia haya sido de 10!. Sin duda, repetiremos!.

Prima locatie, mooie en kraaknette kamer met alle faciliteiten. Erg vriendelijk en attent personeel, die na een opmerking over het ontbijt in het Castelar Palace hotel spontaan de kosten hiervoor volledig terugbetaalde.

Ontbijt in het Castelar Palace boutique hotel. Brood was beschimmeld, eitjes na enig aandringen toch beschikbaar maar koud door de zoektocht naar eetbaar brood. Andere gasten kregen gewoon geen eitjes, zogezegd “op”. Het contrast met Pou Seaward Suites kan niet groter zijn.

Locatie minder centraal dan we verwacht hadden. De kamer was ook kleiner dan we verwacht hadden en vooral met de trap te bereiken omdat er iets is met de lift. Ontbijt was een echte teleurstelling. Het ontbijt ging niet door in het hotel zelf, zoals eerder gecommuniceerd. Maar we kregen een voucher om te gaan ontbijten bij Chocolatería Valor. Hier spreekt niemand Engels en je kan enkel zoete 'snacks' bestellen. Verwacht geen vers fruit, yoghurt of brood en charcuterie. Absoluut niet wat we verwacht hadden en voor ons echt geen aanrader.
