Séjour de rêve en Martinique 6 pers avec piscine

The location was a short walk to the beach, small grocer and many restaurants. The unit was spacious, and no feeling of being crowed with 4 people.

We loved the apartment and everything was a '10' apart from one important thing, the WiFi. Communication with Laurence & Pascal was great and Julienne was very friendly and attentive once we had arrived. The location was superb, less than a 5 minute stroll to the beach and the Carrefour convenience store. The amenities were great, with an outside kitchen at the front and a lovely balcony overlooking the solarium at the rear. The beds were very comfortable, although we are used to one that is bigger. The shower was good and everything was very clean on arrival. Secure off-road parking is available, but the area feels very safe and secure. Overall, we were delighted with our choice, even if the WiFi left us rather frustrated at times.

The WiFi is provided by the community and there is no router in the apartment. If you only need it for emails and browsing, and/or want a digital detox, then it is OK. However, we found it to be very poor for streaming, with regular buffering which meant that it took almost 90 minutes to watch an hour long TV programme. This was a significant negative for us, which is why we have reduced the overall score by one.

Laurence the host was great, she was very flexible with our arrival and departure time and was very understanding as we were travelling with kids. She was great for giving us information and providing tips on things to do around the area. The place is perfect for a family vacation, close to the beach and some of the nicest spots in Martinique. The pool is great for after the beach , the house is well equipped with plenty of beach toys for the kids, mosquito racquets and basic food to start the fridge.

The double bed was a bit narrow, especially if you have a tall or big partner. The kitchen is outside, which means there are mosquitoes around; however, this wasn't an issue as the house is well equipped with electric mosquito rackets, which are actually very effective.
