This cottage shares a property with the main house, but there’s plenty of space between the two, and it’s only about a 10–15 minute walk to the water.
Inside, the layout is open and family-friendly, with a great room that includes a game area, TV room, dining space, and kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed. Downstairs there’s a half bath and a full bath (the tub worked great, though the shower wasn’t functioning).
Upstairs, there’s a cozy loft with a daybed and three bedrooms—one with twin beds, another with a queen, and the master with a king. The laundry room upstairs is combined with a full bathroom, which was convenient for our group.
What we loved:
• Great location, close to town and the beach.
• Open layout with lots of space for families.
• Fully stocked kitchen, perfect for cooking at home.
Things to be aware of:
• The refrigerator was a bit noisy and leaking onto floor of kitchen (maintenance assured us it was scheduled to be serviced).
• Some wear and tear around the house—broken blinds, windows that didn’t shut properly(the cranks were missing to open/close ), and older carpet.
• The upstairs bathroom shower could use some attention .
This isn’t a “glam” or newly renovated property, but it was very spacious and worked really well for our families with kids. If you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and room to spread out (rather than luxury finishes), this is a solid choice. We would book again if traveling with another family
