Amazing stay with a great host

I stayed at a holiday home in Zara and had a wonderful experience. The host was super kind and full of great tips. The house was fully equipped, the parking was very convenient, but what really made the difference was the host’s kindness and genuine care for the guests.

Lovely quiet little apartment

Property is nice and clean inside with all the amenities required for a few days stay. The balcony is lovely and the view of the sea to the right is a nice addition Property is close to a beach which is stunning but does get quite busy The surrounding area is quiet with very little traffic noise

The walk from the port to the hotel, I found it ok but my girlfriend did not. The hills are steep and there are a number of steps which is hard with a suitcase

Villa Vera has been such a wonderful apartment to stay at. We were welcomed with open arms, got a tour of the apartment and an explanation of how to walk downtown, find convenience stores, etc. It’s a family run business and you notice that in the personal care they give to their visitors. It nearly feels like a BnB. Always open for small talk when you walk by, and when we ran out of clothes they even helped us out by doing our laundry, such a blessing! The apartment itself is very cozy, well maintained and very clean too. It had everything we needed and beautiful sea view from the balcony as well. What surprised us too was the cool climate inside without having to switch on the AC, although it got pretty hot outside. Walking down to the marina takes about 10 minutes. We only did it once, since we had a car. The car can be parked on the premises itself for free, or across the street. I’d advise a car on Hvar, since you can see a lot more of the island, plus it will save you from having to walk uphill under the hot sun. All in all, we’d love to come back one day and stay here again and see even more from the island. Absolutely recommended.

Excellent, well equipped, quiet place

Dont let the 15 minute walk into town center discourage you. it will give you a chance to enjoy a beautiful residential area with its many patios and flowering plants. What’s more, a charming public beach is a short walk from the house.

good location closer to one of the popular beach however far from the port and old town , has a good patio to enjoy the breeze

Toiletries should be made available and some of the bathroom containers were in plastic that looked cost cut and not value for money

Exceptional

I really enjoyed my stay here! My room in Villa Vera was pretty cozy but a bit small. I also had a huge terrace with the sea view so I could have breakfasts on air.

Unfortunately the window in the room looks out on the garden and sometimes people were walking there.

Lovely little place

We loved staying here beautiful view from the balcony family very welcoming and helpful!.. they gave us fresh fruit from there garden and good recommendations cooking facilities was very good everything you will need for a stay in hvar about a 25 minute walk into the town and a nice beach just near by I would recommend

They were amazing hosts - giving us really great advice for our visit, including a bottle of wine for my birthday! The location was amazing - close to one of the best beaches we saw in our entire time in Hvar. The apartment was clean, comfortable & spacious.

The family who own the numerous apartments on this property, were very friendly and welcoming. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the hosts daughter and welcomed with a delicious Croatian beer ☺️. She was very nice and kind enough to go over the map, and show us how to get around town. She also, let us know that there was an incredible, spectacular, beautiful beach, down a path that was, literally, a block away from the apartment.😍☀️👙 Down at this beach was the best mom and pops restaurant! Best food I had the entire time I was in Croatia! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I highly recommend this place, great location, just about a 10-15min walk to the city center.👍🏽

The only issue I had was with payment, they only except cash. As a travelled throughout Croatia, many place only expected cash, so if you plan on traveling there in the near future, bring lots of cash lol

Bolig med kort vei til strand og Hvar Havn.

Veldig hyggelig personell! Selvom vi flyttet tiden for innsjekk i siste liten så gikk det helt fint og vi ble tatt godt imot. Beliggenheten var fantastisk med en liten gåtur unna en populær fin strand. Boligen har kort vei til sentrum men føles likevel tilbaketrukket unna støy og lignende. Vi var der i fire dager og rommet ble rengjort halvveis i oppholdet noe vi ikke forventet og ble positivt overrasket. Veldig rent.

Rommet og badet var relativt lite men fungerte greit for to personer.

U mirnom dijelu grada, daleko od gradske vreve, a ipak tek nekoliko koraka od najljepše plaže i ugodne šetnje do samog centra. Besprijekorno čisto, udoban mini apartman s prostranom terasom, komfornim krevetima i potpuno opremljenom kuhinjom idealnom za pripremu ukusnog bruncha.
