About this apartment rental
A vacation in the heart of nature.
The “Zur grünen Wiese” apartment, at 100 square meters, is the largest apartment on our vacation farm. The apartment features 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, an entryway, a living room, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. You can wind down at the end of the day on a large west-facing balcony. Right next to the apartment’s private entrance is a courtyard that was built exclusively for the “Über der alten Brennerei” apartment. The courtyard can accommodate up to 3 vehicles. The playground is easily accessible for children.
All vacation apartments on our estate are housed in historic buildings, which not only provide a special atmosphere but also actively contribute to environmental protection. By utilizing and modernizing existing buildings as the basis for our vacation apartments, we avoid the construction of new accommodations without having to sacrifice modern comforts.
With our new wood chip heating system, we’ve found a sustainable alternative to conventional heating. By using wood chips from our own forest as fuel, we aim to actively contribute to climate protection by heating our estate in an environmentally friendly and efficient manner. Our own solar power system also covers our electricity needs.

Sehr gut geeignet für einen entspannten Urlaub im Grünen. Man erreicht aber auch schnell unterschiedliche Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung. Super Gastgeber, Entspannung pur.

Der Kontakt vorab und während des Aufenthalts war super. Auch der Senior des Hofs war super auskunftsfreudig und hat sich super mit unserem 4-Jährigen verstanden. Die Kids haben sich mega wohl gefühlt mit den zahlreichen Möglichkeiten auf dem Außengelände wie Spielplatz, Tretautos, Hasen etc.
Kleines Manko: man braucht schon ein Auto, wenn man etwas unternehmen möchte. Es gibt keine Fußwege, man läuft immer auf kleineren Straßen. Man ist super schnell am Bodensee, was wir sehr toll fanden.
Die Wohnung ist groß und geräumig. Die Küche war so weit gut ausgestattet, so dass wir uns verpflegen konnten. Mit der Heizung sind wir nicht so optimal klar gekommen, weil sie entweder sehr heiß oder komplett kalt war. Aber da liegt das Problem ggf am Nutzer, also uns .. 😅. Fragen hätte sicher geholfen. Bei schlafempfindlichen Kindern könnte eventuell der knarrende Boden stören. Alles in allem hatten wir aber einen tollen Aufenthalt!

Das Mieten verlief reibungslos. Das Objekt war in sehr gutem und gemütlichem Zustand. Ist etwas ausserhalb, aber lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit.
