We have stayed in a lot of apartments in recent years and I can safely say Giorgio’s apartments were the best. Why? Spotlessly clean, spacious, perfectly located in a quiet neighbourhood, yet 3-4 minutes walk to Monopoli old town. The roof terrace is an exceptional added bonus. As for our host, Giorgio - he could not have been better, super friendly, replied (almost immediately) to our endless queries re restaurants, car hire, parking. beach clubs etc We took his advice on most of his recommendations and glad we did. Normally when staying in apartments you have no contact with owner but it was so nice to get to actually meet Giorgio, as he is clearly a people person. If you are staying in Monopoli, or using it as a base for travelling around beautiful Puglia, I highly recommend staying in Giorgio’s apartments.
