The property was in a great location, walkable to Portopetro and the outside area with the pool was beautiful. However, the inside of the property is very rustic (which we were expecting from the photos but it was more rustic than we thought it would be). We also had a few issues while we were there - the dishwasher didn't work, the WiFi was sketchy, something in the washing machine broke off mid cycle and shredded our clothing, the fridge drawers were broken and we were aware of rats in the garden/pool area. When we reported issues to Villas Calador they were very responsive - replaced the dishwasher quickly with a new one and sent a technician to fix the washing machine. The cleaners came twice but on the first visit they simply changed the sheets and towels but didn't do any cleaning and on the second visit they simply dropped off fresh towels and left. We kept the house really clean during our stay because ants were an issue - despite that the ants still seemed to get everywhere. We still had a great holiday but were disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the property and the poor condition of the appliances and quality of glassware/crockery. The house could be amazing if it were to be upgraded. We just didn't feel that the cost matched the quality, sadly.
