Malvern View Lodge

Location was fantastic - large field for the dog to run in, plenty of local walks, quiet (apart from the sound of the local wildlife which we loved) and easy access to Worcester, Malvern etc. Property was snug, clean and had everything we needed

Bathroom was very small and sink in bathroom was tiny. we decided that only one of us could be in there at any one time! Main bedroom really only has access down one side of bed and no room for a second bedside table, but the bed was comfy. We used the second "bedroom" as a dressing room/storage for the bags, which, as there was only two of us, was okay.

The modern take on a shepherd’s cottage was wonderfully executed. Far more spacious and accommodating than a hotel, there are several rooms to spread out over, and glorious outdoors spaces to watch the Malvern Hills over glorious farmland. There has been a great deal of attention to detail in how the cottage has been put together as well as what is there for the guests (and most things have been carefully sized according to the property). The owner is charming, and the welcome supplies were some of the most generous I have experienced; it felt more like staying with a friend.

These issues are really more minor, but the bed was a little soft for me and I always like a cafetière or filter coffee for the morning.
