About this apartment rental

This property is located a few metres from Santa Ana Square and Puerta del Sol, in a pedestrian area where walking will be a true delight. The Prado Museum, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and Retiro Park are just a few minutes' walk away.



This area offers a wide culinary offering, as well as many leisure options and shops. Well-connected to any area of the city.



The apartment:



The apartment is located on the second floor of a building equipped with a lift.

It has capacity for 8 people and consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Spacious and welcoming, it has all the amenities to ensure maximum comfort.



The main bedroom, with a double bed, has an en-suite marble bathroom with a bathtub. The second bedroom has two single beds and a wardrobe to store all your belongings. The third bedroom is equipped with a double bed of 150cm.



All these rooms overlook an interior courtyard, to ensure rest.

The kitchen is independent from the rest of the rooms, thus providing comfort and tranquillity to guests and has a large pantry.

The living room has a balcony to the outside and features a sofa bed, and a lovely dining table.

The apartment has heating and air conditioning in all its rooms.

The cot is subject to availability. Please advise a maximum of 5 days in advance.



The change from heating to air conditioning in the apartment boiler will be carried out at the end of May, and in turn, the change from air conditioning to heating will be carried out in November in accordance with the protocols established by the community.



To be taken into account:



Works will be carried out in the storage rooms of the building until further notice. This will affect the flats as little as possible, we apologise for any inconvenience.



Our accommodation is located in one of the liveliest and most characterful areas of the city, surrounded by a wide range of bars, restaurants and venues that bring the neighbourhood to life, especially as night falls. Its privileged location will allow you to move around easily and have the best that the city has to offer just a few steps away: culture, gastronomy, entertainment and much more.



As it is such a dynamic environment with a lot of activity, it is possible that some ambient noise may be perceived, especially during weekends. It is the ideal place for those who enjoy the urban atmosphere and want to be in the centre of everything.



Important: This apartment is only offered for seasonal rentals, in accordance with Article 3 of the Urban Leases Act (LAU). Clients will sign a seasonal lease agreement upon arrival.



The online check-in is mandatory in accordance with current regulations and must be carried out through the MitHouse app/webapp. During this process, the MRZ band of each guest's identity document will be read to extract the data required by the authorities. It will be essential to have a mobile device and internet on the phone to access the apartment.



For stays exceeding 28 days, a deposit of €1,000 will be requested, which is refundable at the end of the stay if no damage is caused to the accommodation.



Respect: For the purpose of good coexistence and respect for neighbours and residents, this apartment may be equipped with a 24-hour noise monitoring system. Guests are obliged to comply with the established rest hours at all times.

Access to the apartment: this apartment is located within the Area called MADRID CENTRAL with restricted access to road traffic. Please note that, to access the apartment by private vehicle, you must have the corresponding approval from the Municipal Traffic Directorate (DGT). Otherwise, you can only access the apartment on foot, or by public transport, taxi or VTC. Mit House is not responsible for any municipal fine in this regard

Check-in was not easy as we needed to drop off our luggage (not their fault!). The office was challenging to find, and the first male we dealt with had an "I hate my job" attitude; the second male was friendlier, but not as adept. Finding the apartment was a nightmare because the building wasn't marked. Someone must have complained because on the second day, a "17" was poorly painted above the door, which looked particularly nasty. Far too often, the system failed to unlock the door. We would try over and over until, eventually, someone happened to return to or be leaving the building. Even at the apartment door, pointing your phone at the lock often didn't work right away. Trust me, it wasn't that we were stupid (both have doctorates), as others struggled in the same fashion. The apartment was fine, but be aware that the hot water in the shower lasted only 3 minutes, then turned cold. Beds were comfy, and the apartment was clean. Location was great; we walked everywhere. There was a coffee shop down the street and a convenience store just doors away, which helped, as simple provisions were not provided as in other places. The potential is there, but the MitHouse needs to work on their check-in and should at least provide morning coffee for a day or two. Nothing beats having someone greet you and walk you through the process, as was the case in two other places we stayed during our trip to Spain and Portugal.

We loved the place and the location. The only issues we had was trying to turn on the water heater and air conditioning. Maybe for next time the owners should leave the water heater on for us to take warmer showers.

Pros: Great Location in the middle of everything Very roomy Very clean Easy check up in as long as you had the app installed. Cons: One of the double beds had a terrible mattress ( my daughter had to sleep with my grandson) The door to the laundry machine didn’t close properly. We had to had to hold it closed for the entire wash cycle ( 30 min) No response when I alerted the management about it.
