Recently remodeled, well-maintained Cape Cod-style home. Newly remodeled bathrooms and new flooring throughout (2020). Beachside location. Steps from the beach. Perfect for one or multiple families. A master bedroom on each floor with king beds. Downstairs also has a room with two queens. Upstairs has a bunk room with two bunk beds. Stylishly and comfortably furnished. Bright and open kitchen/living/dining area with beautiful beach views. Fully-equipped island kitchen. Ceiling fans throughout downstairs. Washer/Dryer on the ground floor. Wi-Fi. Table dining for 16, plus 3 at island counter. Gated porch great for kids and dogs. Outdoor shower. Quiet, family-oriented beach. Close-in West Beach location (one of the closest beachfront neighborhoods to town), approximately 6.2 miles from the intersection of 61st Street and Seawall Boulevard - minutes from the city of Galveston and attractions. Incredible unobstructed views of beach, surf and stars.

The view is top notch. The beach is literally steps from the house. There are no ugly dunes to cross over. The house is stocked well with towels, dishes, etc. They have box fans available for the bedrooms. The air conditioner is fantastic, kept the house cool. They had 1 roll of paper towels, several trash bags, dishwasher pods and laundry pods, hand soap at all sinks, and travel shampoo/conditioner in the showers. I've rented homes that don't have these things, so it was very nice. The driveway only fits 2 cars, but you can park along the street. There is a Dollar General nearby. Marios Pizza is 3 mins away and has excellent pizza. I highly recommend the Bianca Pizza. We drove 15 mins to Doc Hollidays Roadhouse for dinner - great food, large portions! The house was clean, cute and the location is absolutely perfect. There are missing hurricane brackets under the house. Hopefully, they can get those installed soon.

We were pleased with the close location to the beach and to town. The AC worked very well - especially upstairs. We figured out the Chromecast after a little bit and it worked well. We were disappointed with the overall care of the property. Kitchen had been remodeled from the online pictures and the new stove worked well. However the utensils were sparse- only 1 spoon - and the cookware was limited. The furniture and decoration was different from the online listing photos. There were no curtains on the windows. The couches appeared to have had their legs removed so they sat directly on the floor which made them quite low. Knobs and handles on some of the furniture was missing. The property was a good location for the event we attended over the weekend but we felt like the house preparation for visitors could have been stepped up a bit.
