Agriturismo Casteddu

This place truly is a gem hidden among the old cork oaks forest. If you are seeking for a place to reconnect with nature yet within 15 minutes driving distance from beaches of SanTeodoro, Casteddu is your best option. The accomodation itself is equipped with great taste- modern but with respect to old times and traditions. Everything was very clean. There is also an option to join for dinners at a local restaurant that prepares traditional Sardinian dishes. The food we were provided with was always cooked to perfection. I like to cook a lot myself so I truly appreciated every detail of the menu and the overall dinning experience. The personnel was always very friendly and helpful. Truly nice and kind people. Place like this is really hard to find.

I wish we could have stayed longer.

Einfach ALLES war perfekt!!! Ich war noch nie in einer anderen Unterkunft so zufrieden wie hier. Die Lage, das Personal, die Dekoration, das Essen etc. War alles hervorragend

Property was amazing. Beautiful old stone house, restored very beautifully and the surrounding areas was amazing. Like a dream

It’s not that I didn’t like it but the booking website lacked the information that there was a restaurant dinner service almost every night which meant that we had to pass through seated tables to get to our room. Also people who visited the restaurant would come and sit outside our room properties where we thought we would have privacy. I think it’s good that this information exists since we were embarrassed passing through dinner guests returning from the beach. Also the toilet seat kept falling down on our backs when sitting which was weird. To add the shower randomly turns to extremely high heat and cold which honestly can be dangerous. You could easily burn yourself. We adjusted the temperature to always keep it cold to not burn ourselves. This information should’ve been provided by the property. Also when arriving at the property one of the kitchen staff meet up with us. She seemed annoyed or upset at first, maybe she has a bad day. We got our keys and a very nice young girl showed us where we would stay. Then she left. We got no information on breakfast hours, no information about Wi-Fi or any other information regarding anything. The only thing we were asked was if we wanted to dine at the restaurant. Maybe it was communication issues since not everyone is fluent in English but I would recommend the property to at least have some sort of pre-made information letter on breakfast, what we can ask for during breakfast, what hours it is, wifi etc. I will also add that the breakfast was overall not the best. Information lacked and not very tasty. Also no juice which was marketed in the photos. If I was the property manager I would upgrade the breakfast honestly.
