Location near old town is good, but not the best for anywhere else in Alghero besides old town, and Matteo sent on some good recommendations for food etc. Outside balconies were useful. Fridge provided in room was welcome. Breakfast was ok with bread and a selection of cereals provided.
It felt very regimented with a lot of rules and security cameras everywhere. Check-in was required to be in person which was unusual. Surcharge required if towels were to be cleaned more than once every 3 days, but yet no towel drying rack was provided, only a wall hook. Kitchen counter facilities and coffee machine only available for 2 hours in the morning, which wasn't ideal when trying to make packed lunch for beach etc.
