Villa Vardina

Came with children and small grandchildren . We were met by the owner on arrival who showed us around and provided some snacks and water at 2200. Always responded rapidly to every question. The villa is exceptional , architecture so well suited to surroundings bringing the stunning view and mountain air into the home and garden. 5 beautiful spacious bederoomn ensuite with and addiational bathroom and large indoor jaccuzzi, well equiped kitchen, outdoor barbeque, pizza oven, playground , table tennis , and a treadmill and cycle, excellent internet --fantastic cleaning service. The very best villa we had as a holiday home--highly recommended--will return.

We had to be vigilant with the toddlers around the pool as there is no fence --but we found it fairly easy to be careful and always locked the door when inside so that toddlers would not go outside unnoticed. When outside we always made sure there was at least one hypervigilant adult .

Our stay at this villa was exceptional. The villa itself has been built to an excellent standard and a great deal of thought has clearly been put into the layout. The views of the surrounding area are simply stunning and words cannot do it justice. You will need a car to make the most of your stay, but there is parking space for 3 (possibly 4) vehicles. You can reach the closest beach in 14 minutes by car and can drive to Rethymno (a main city) in about 30 minutes. The closest supermarket is a 9 minute drive and there is a large Lidl about 20 minutes away. There is also a lovely Taverna (Taverna Maria) about 800m away which is run by a very welcoming family. My family had the most amazing stay at Villa Vardina and will forever miss that view. We will definitely be coming back.

Die Villa war wie auf den Bildern, einfach nur schön. Jedes Zimmer mit eigenem Bad war bei der großen Gruppe super und die einzelnen Zimmer sind auch gut verteilt, somit hatte jeder seine Ruhe. Die Betten waren bequem, nur die Kissen waren ein wenig zu hart, aber dies ist eine subjektive Meinung, aber es scheint generell auf Kreta so zu sein, denn in 2 anderen Hotels war es auch so. Leider hatten wir die Hälfte unseres Aufenthaltes nur Regen und um die 14 Grad, der beheizte Pool war dann von Vorteil und konnte dennoch genutzt werden. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und die Schlüsselübergabe bei An- und Abreise war freundlich, einfach und problemlos. Die Kommunikation zwecks Reinigung, An- und Abreise mit dem Vermieter war auch sehr gut. Da das Haus abgelegen in den Bergen liegt, ist ein Mietwagen zu empfehlen. Im Umkreis von 10 min Autofahrt sind auch viele leckere Restaurants. Falls wir wieder mal mit einer großen Gruppe nach Kreta verreisen, werden wir bestimmt wieder kommen.

Det hele. Levede fuldt op til billederne. Ejer kom personligt , både da vi ankom og ved afrejse. Meget venlig. God og let kontakt til udlejningsfirmaet Der var steder man kunne være sammen og alene. Masser af plads. Poolen var et hit. Vi var 11 , mine børn, deres kærester/mand, fem børnebørn fra 12-20 år. En utrolig god ferie med samvær

Ikke et minus, men man er næsten nødt til at leje biler, da villaen ligger afsides Alt var godt. Kommer gerne igen
