Awesome one night stay!

It was nice to be greeted by friendly staff - Ella at the reception after a long travel on the cruise. She also recommended some restaurants for dinner, very helpful indeed. The room is spacious enough for us with two big luggages, all the amenities needed are provided as well. Location is superb, just a walking distance after the Hurtigruten port and to the nearby harbour.

A Room with the Most Beautiful View

Our room had the most stunning view – it was clean, cozy, and very comfortable, making our stay truly relaxing. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast was excellent – varied, delicious, and beautifully presented, with something for everyone to enjoy. We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Good for a one night stay

The location of the property was great for me catching the Arctic bus in the morning. The breakfast was huge and a lovely looking space. The reception staff were fantastic with any questions l had and super helpful in me finding the post office.

The beds are way too soft and no support for me.

excellent service from staff - rooms very nice and comfortable - view on harbour & sea very nice - bfast very complete and enough space for everybody - free coffee corner at reception area very nice -

confusion on check in as you have 2 thon hotels - Thon Lofoten & Thon Svolvaer (by mistake we checked in at lofoten but had booking at Thon Solvaer - increase nbr of electric chargers for cars in parking if possible - all in use at end of the aftrenoon -Bfast - pancakes & waffles at bfast in smaller quantities and replace regular with fresh/warm waffles - out of fresh oranges on last day - should keep bigger stock and little bit more fresh fruit (like kiwi s /banana s for example would make the experience a 10 +

Good classy hotel in central Svolvaer

This is a very attractive hotel. Our room was lovely. The public areas were also great. Fabulous breakfast . Staff very professional. Nespresso machines in lobby. Very convenient for the Hurtigruten ferry.

The Nespresso machine in our room appeared to have a fault. The situation of the hotel does not provide the best views of Svolvaer.

Great location, easy walk to harbor. Very nice and attentive staff. Floating sauna was fabulous. Food was amazing! Don’t forget to check the rooftop for amazing view

The breakfast!! Best breakfast I’ve ever eaten at a hotel, I’d go back just for that! The decoration of the whole hotel is beautiful. Love the nice touch of leaving binoculars in the room so you can look out the window with the view on the ocean. Great value for money and would go back in a heartbeat

Bed could be more comfortable especially the pillows. There was a lot of dust in our room so cleaning could also be better. Staff was not super friendly.

An amazing hotel in an amazing place.

Short walk to town, across the road from Hurtigruten, so great location. Quick check in, friendly staff. Room was roomy and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing - plenty of tables and great variety of food. Loved the foyer where you could sit and relax in comfortable chairs and have a coffee (included). And to make our stay even better, we saw the northern lights outside the front door of the hotel!

Ideal stay if you have an early ferry boat boarding

The hotel is just in front of the port where the ferry boat leaves (literally one of the exit doors of the hotel are in front of the entrance to the ferry boat), ideal if you need to board at 6 am. The breakfast was rich and diverse. Room had a view on the city center and we are able to spot the aurora borealis. Staff was nice, informative and clear.

Stunning place to celebrate your special moments

The hotel and experience here were truly incredible. The team at the hotel from the lady on the front desk to the guys in the restaurant, all of the staff were incredible! They truly made our trip. The facilities such as the floating sauna, fine dining sharing platter experience and the room were all amazing. A special thank you to the front desk team who upgraded our room and left a delicious dessert plate for us as we marked our engagement.

Beautiful room and views - we booked an ocean view. Exceptionally clean and new facilities. Comfortable bed. Ideal location right next to the ferry. Decent restaurant.

Air conditioning did not work or turn on at all and they said it could not be fixed for 48 hours, which was unhelpful as we were only staying one night. There is no deadbolt on the door. The lock is electronic and didn't work at times. When it did work, it takes at least a minute to activate. In a brand new facility I think this in unacceptable. An internal manual locking system is essential for basic safety when we are sleeping.
